October Meeting 2026

Welcòm o whei!
Welcome to a revitalised Society and a new blog. At a well-attended AGM we had some interesting discussions regarding the way forward for the Society. One decision was to add "Cornwall" to our name so that we are not confused with a similar society, same initials, in Nova Scotia. There are also some ideas for a new, distinctive logo. Look out for more entries on this blog and a new website that is in preparation. And, wow! We are really getting updated - we are going to have a WattsApp group!

If you are interested in a Blast From The Past you can read "historical" blogs
from October 01, 2005 to May 10, 2008
on http://truroarts.blogspot.com/
This then changed for May and June 2008 to
https://truroartsociety.blogspot.com
After which it was just down to a newsletter, initially printed and mailed, then just emailed and on the website.

There was plenty of opportunity to display unframed pictures in our browsers. (Sadly, this time, we could not do cards.)      When people come to our exhibitions they may be looking for something suble or something brash, or anything in between. We hope they will find what they are looking for. We certainly enjoy painting it.   ...
